Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED AF-S DX Lens

Broke the bank last night with the purchase of Nikon’s wide-angle lens, the Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED AF-S DX, for a wallet wrenching US$1,000. Funny thing is while most of the merchandise in the streets of Saigon goes for much higher (original stuff that is) their digital cameras and accessories goes for slightly lower than anywhere else. This lens for example goes for US$1,020 on Amazon while back home in Malaysia it’ll go for US$1,100+, right here if you haggle a bit more than I did there’s a good chance you’ll get it for lower than what I paid.
