SMSD on iPhone v1.1.4 fixed!

My favorite SMS app called SMSD were non functioning on my iPhone v1.1.4, it’s an excellent app which I got used to using on the old v1.0.2. It seems the newer version have permission issue in the system so after much searching online to find a fix I’ve found a few, tried a few, and finally got it working again.

If you still can’t get it working no worries! Here’s another solution! If you have followed ipodtouchfixer’s tutorial and still can’t get SMSD to launch then :
1. Open WinSCP again and go to /var/mobile/Library/SMS
2. Delete sms.db (WARNING! All your saved SMS messages in your inbox will be deleted!)
3. Close WinSCP and on your iPhone open the default SMS app. This will create a new sms.db
4. Close the default SMS and open SMSD. Voila! It’s now working!
